What is an Announcement? 📣 

An Announcement is a one-time email which you send to a selected group of guests.

How do Announcements work? 🤔 

Creating an Announcement is quite simple.

Step 1
Navigate to Emails > Announcements

Step 2
Click the green Create button in the top right corner

Step 3
Customise the content of your email as you usually would. Don't forget to add the content for each language active in your system!

Please ensure you give the email a descriptive name!

Step 4
Go to the Guests tab:

This is where you will choose the guests to receive your email.

You can only choose guests by:

  • Date of arrival
  • Reservation status (confirmed, cancelled, or both)

As you change your selection, you will notice that the list of guests will also change.

Once you are happy with your selection, and you are ready to send your email, click the green Save changes and send button.

Please note: Clicking the Save changes and send button takes immediate effect and cannot be undone! Only click when you are ready to send!
