Let's suppose that your GuestJoy system has English and Spanish as active languages.

But you have a guest who speaks Finnish.

Which language will they see in the emails they receive, and when they visit the Concierge? 

They will see the Default language that you have chosen in Settings > General:

This is the language that GuestJoy will show guests where:

  • They speak a language that is not available in GuestJoy, or

  • We cannot detect what language they should see (this is very rare)

Remember, if a guest chooses to see the system in a different language (in the language switcher in the top right corner of the Concierge, or from the language options in emails), that choice overrides all of GuestJoy's settings for that guest. Ultimately, the guest has the final call.
